ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent Full-Time position on a 3:1 / 2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth.

We are seeking skilled Final Trim Excavator Operators with significant experience in a civil environment to join our dynamic team based on Barrow Island.

Initial scope of work includes detailed civil excavation / backfill works for the installation of underground services and associated precast concrete elements.

The scope of work is varied, and the potential for further upskilling is high.

ABOUT YOU

As a Final Trim Excavator Plant Operator, you will have the following:

• Proven experience as a final trim excavator operator
• National Competency Tickets
• HR Licence
• Experience operating a variety of machines (desirable)
• FIFO experience (desirable)
• Good attitude and happy to assist on the ground when required
• Australian working rights

ABOUT BARROW ISLAND
Ertech has been a major service provider to Chevron Australia’s Gorgon Project for over ten years.  The Gorgon project, located on Barrow Island off the coast of Western Australia comprises a three-train 15.6 million tonnes per annum LNG facility and a domestic gas plant.  The island is a Class A Nature Reserve which required stringent environmental practices, which saw Ertech develop it’s own Chevron-approved Quarantine facilities.
